got to scrap with some of Liz's new goodies in her kit, Daydreamer.  love love love this color scheme.  don't think it can only be used for girl layouts, either!  :)  this layout is of sweet Riblet, out on a "hike."  also used some of CD's latest alphas, Super Sloppy.

argh!  so wanted to sit and read some but i realized i left my book at a place we were playing with the kids.  hate it when that happens!  at least i can pick it up later... and at least we all had a great time playing!  haha.  the bright side, right?  right.

Starting it off...

...hello Monday!  a friend is having her baby today (YIPPIE), so we've got a little sibling addition to the house today to play.  it's great fun to have another here - the more the merrier, truly.  the more kids in the house, really the less supervising in have to do...  not that i'm a micromanager of my kids by any means, but one more means new stuff and new ideas!

had date night over the weekend and went to see Act of Valor.  have you seen it?  if so, what did you think?

here's an older hybrid layout, My Wish, that i did (sigh, when Kenner Road was still around as a kit club, sigh) that was published in the Big Book of Scrapbook Pages by Memory Makers (sigh, i so miss MM as a magazine, too!).  sneaky little guy, Frogger, peeking around the corner at me.... (gosh was he so small in this layout!  he's five+ now!)

yeah! weekend.

i really shouldn't say, "yeah!  it's the weekend."  i should say - "uh, it's well INTO the weekend!"  lol.  have had a great family day today and reallly looking forward to date night tonight!  always a joy to spend time with DH (and not have to hear "mommy!  i need...." or "mommy!  can you please...").  not that i overly mind hearing that, it's just, every once in a while, i enjoy having uninterruped conversations with DH, especially when we're not both beat from long days at our respective workplaces.  not sure where we're going yet, but it really doesn't matter much!  ;)

Wednesday, Wednesday

good morning! it is wednesday.  our kids are on spring break this week and next.  it has been such fun having them home.  we have a pretty calm (ha) and peaceful house, so i have actually been looking forward to their company.  plus, with the little guy, he is so social and loves having the siblings around.  today is full of more mom's taxi events (didn't think just because school was out that i would be shuttling people all over the place! lol).  play dates, grocery store (haven't been on over a week - it is definitely time), gas (ACK - $4.45/gal!!!), etc.

have had some fun scrapping going on the last bit (finally)... of course, that means something else is displaced by that time - in this case, it is Project Life, but that's ok.  one i know operates 2 weeks behind on PL, so i don't feel quite so badly...  i am trying, though, to really keep up with it as time allows - a bit here, a bit there.

first, this one is a little story about this huge furniture box our kids received and turned into their own "farm."

this second layout is for the CK March sketch challenge - i don't often use sketches, so this was fun!

have a couple of new products available in the store today for SOSN.  have had a few requests for Mishmashed Sentiments to be turned into cutting files, so finally, they're done (thanks, Ann)!  these come in .eps, .svg and .pdf formats, so hopefully one of those will work with whatever cutter people prefer!  also available are Mishmashed Sentiments in the regular digi format/pngs.  :)
